Job Summary

A fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Executive/Account Executive to join a fun and vibrant team at a Multi-award-winning, growing Marketing, Design, and Website Agency based in Crawley, West Sussex.

Right from the get-go, as a Marketing Exec, you’ll be responsible for managing and delivering the marketing activity of some of our fantastic clients and executing their iconic ideas and projects across a number of channels.

We are a full-service marketing agency, meaning your role will involve planning and implementing campaigns across social media (TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram), PPC, email marketing, direct mail, out-of-home and much more.

As a key marketing team member, this role reports directly to the Senior Marketing Executive/Marketing Manager. You will work closely with the Marketing Director and alongside five other Marketing Executives. You will be supporting the Marketing team in the promotion of Creative Pod’s services to potential clients and will be responsible for helping to increase your client’s brand awareness by creating engaging and creative campaigns to meet their marketing objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Increase awareness and engagement of your clients and the brand that you are marketing
  • Establish contacts, build a relationship with clients and network with other business contacts
  • Communicate with target audiences and manage customer relationships
  • Keep in contact with the client at all stages of the campaign
  • Identify out-of-home opportunities - Radio, TV and Billboards
  • Liaise with our designers to manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, blogs, social graphics and press releases
  • Write content for clients, including Blogs, Case Studies, Press Releases, Facebook ads and social posts. Ensuring you keep to each business tone of voice.
  • Create and distribute email marketing campaigns and report back with key stats
  • Manage the social media accounts of your clients. This can include Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and Pinterest
  • Come up with ideas for creating marketing campaigns, pitch these to the client and arrange the effective implementation of said campaigns
  • Arrange and attend client meetings
  • Attend client and industry events
  • Evaluate marketing campaigns
  • Report on all marketing activity with monthly and weekly reports, providing valuable insights and recommendations for improvements
  • Contribute to and develop marketing plans and strategies
  • Support the Marketing, Design, and sales team
  • Have a keen eye for the latest marketing trends and evolutions
Who you are

Must-haves:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar or Marketing Executive/Account Executive level role
  • A self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Good knowledge of digital marketing with a deep understanding of the social media landscape
  • A well-rounded digital marketing skillset with a basic understanding of all channels
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Excellent multi-tasker who can deliver in a fast-paced and vibrant environment
  • Excellent written skills and the ability to adapt content to different audiences
  • Thoroughness, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience in developing relationships and managing enquiries
  • Critical thinking combined with a creative mindset
  • Disciplined and organised yet flexible and responsive
  • Great teammate. Ability to work independently but also support the team when required
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Full valid UK’s driver's licence

Desirables/Advantages:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in one of the following areas (is advantageous): Business, Management, Communication, Media, English, Creative Writing, Marketing, Advertising, Psychology
  • Agency experience is extremely desirable
  • Interest in photography/videography
  • Previous B2B experience
  • PPC and Google Analytics experience (GA4 is highly desirable)
  • Email marketing/campaign experience
  • Paid social ads on Facebook and Instagram
